At Synapse, we provide a headless CMS for demonstration purposes. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your data when you sign up for a demo account.

We only collect the minimum information necessary to provide you with access to the demo environment:

  • Identity Data: Full Name.
  • Contact Data: Email address.
  • Organization Data: Name of the organization.
  • Technical Data: IP address and login timestamps (stored for security and system maintenance).

6. How We Use Your Data

We process your data based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (Performance of a Contract) to provide you with the requested demo access, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Legitimate Interest) to ensure the security of our application.

7. Data Retention

Demo Nature: This is a temporary testing environment. Deletion Policy: We reserve the right to delete demo accounts and all associated content at any time without prior notice. Retention: If not deleted manually by you or during a system flush, your signup data is kept for 30 days after your last login.

8. Data Storage and Security

We use the following third-party services (Data Processors) to run the app: Hosting: Oracle – Servers located in Germany. Database: Supabase.

We have implemented appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way. However, as this is a demo environment, please do not upload sensitive or real-world production data.

Spam Protection (Google reCAPTCHA)

We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect our contact form and demo signup form from automated abuse and spam. This service analyzes user behavior (e.g., mouse movements, IP address, browser settings) to distinguish humans from bots. Data collected is transmitted to and processed on Google servers in the United States. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Please be aware that demo accounts and all associated data may be suspended or permanently deleted at any time without prior notice.
